Stingray Point

Stingray point is our version of Bahama’s Stingray City and it’s probably the best diving with stingrays in Dominican Republic.

This dive is part of our Catalinita day trip.

The depth is about 15 m /50 ft, ideal for all levels of rec divers. Not too many people know about this dive location, it was discovered a few months ago by a friend and myself, using local fisherman’s detailed knowledge of the area. In a beautifully landscaped labyrinth of small valleys and swim-throughs you encounter huge stingrays in large numbers. They are laying motionless  in the sand, awaiting you to take a picture or you can simply study this beautiful fish from a very close range.
