St. George Wreck

The dives to St. George wreck are always exciting. Some of our clients do two or three dives while on their dive vacation here, to explore the whole wreck and to see every little detail.

Stern 31 m / 102 ft
Bow- 44 m / 144 ft
Top of the wreck is in15 m / 50 ft

There are two buoys, one at the stern and one at the bow. More experienced divers can penetrate the wreck,  swim through the big cargo space that houses a huge brass propeller, pumps, space heaters, engine, etc. Three levels of crew accommodations and the bridge can be explored as well. The wreck is also home to schools of different fish, especially barracudas.

This dive site is protected by Parque Nacional and fishing is not permitted.
