Catalinita Island

Isla Catalinita – small island between mainland and Saona Island on the border between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Lots of marine life makes it a popular diving and snorkeling place. Same as Saona Island Catalinita is part of the Parque del Este natural reserve.

This is the most beautiful scuba diving trip. It is about 60 – 70 minute boat ride, with two interesting dive spots Shark point and Stingray point. On the way back, after relaxing on the island for a bit, we stop at a snorkeling spot with reef sharks, turtles and sometimes dolphins too. This trip is really great, but we suggest these dives for more experienced divers as the ocean conditions sometimes are not good for beginners.
