Super Colmado – the local “corner market” in the center of the village is a place to go and discover the Dominican life. The main meeting place where everybody goes to drink ‘Presidente Grande” – the local beer, listen to the Dominican music and talk about their day. Great place to mingle with locals or practice your Spanish. It gets busy about 6 PM and closes at 9 PM every day.
Saona Café known not only for their great burgers, fries and coctails, but also one of the most popular places to go for a drink after a day on the beach. The favorite place to go dancing on the beach under the stars Fridays or Saturdays for locals, “gringos” and tourists as well . It gets quite busy as the night goes on and the music continues until all guests leave. There is no cover charge and the drinks are reasonably priced.
Disco club at El Eden Hotel located at Hotel Eden in Dominicus, open for dancing Thursdays and Fridays. This bar usually hosts local and international DJ’s and it’s mostly visited by the tourists from the All-Inclusive Resorts and “gringos” living in the area.
Casino Dominicus opened in December 2007 is the only stand alone casino in Dominican republic with the highest table limits in the country. Las Vegas style with Dominican flavor. The gaming floor is around 45,000-square-foot big with 150 slot machines, 25 game tables and a small poker room. The disco bar presents popular local bands where guests can dance all night long bachata and merengue. The sports bar on the side of the casino offers your favorite team games on the big screen. Opening hour 4 PM to 4 AM.
